Great post about the vunerability of TS women.


Having met one she seemed so incredibly confident and I just had to ask the question......'when you say pre-op, do you mean you intend to get rid of that big cock' ?

The reply was ' No, I like being this way'

I'm fascinated about where exactly TS/Shemales fit, there seems to be as much variety amongst them as any other branch of sexuality.

Some are Bi, some are gay and no doubt some are straight. Some want to be totally female, others are happy to retain the male genitals and infact want to be that way.

I can only imagine how difficult it must be to fit in with the rest of society when you seem to be almost entirely female but essentially you are a gay or Bi-sexual male. It would be great to understand this better as it really does confuse the fuck out of me.........mind you the fact I like Shemales confuses the fuck out of me.

How do the females view you? Do you have male friends ? What do you do during the average day ?

Do the ladies out there like to be called TS/Transexual/Shemale/Ladyboy whats the preference as sometimes it almost seems like I might being slightly insulting ?

Most offen the women i met have no idea that i'm not all girl if they suspect they never made mention of it, As for the women who know they treat me as just one of the girls, I've only had trouble with one older co-worker and she was always preaching the bible to me and wanted me to see her minaster who with Gods help would cure me, Yes i have guy friends who know i'm a Tgirl and they are some what ok with it one of them i've been friends with sence grade school when i told him he just said ok now a few things makes sence, But it makes him uneasy when i talk about my upcoming SRS something about having my penis removed makes him cringe. As far as being called a TS or shemale it makes no nevermind to me as they are just terms nothing more but since i'm Asian/American the term ladyboy bugs the crap out of me i really hate that term i guess because when i told my parents my mother called me a ladyboy and it really hurt me, As for what i do for a living i'm a bank teller Jennifer

I've always been Jennifer deep down inside and she is finaly on the outside my soul is female as is my mind i was just born with a birth defect i was born with a penis i should never have had, So i'll be having it removed, Will the surgery make me feel more female? I guess in away yes it will and it will make me legaly female so if i do marry my boyfriend it will be legal and not classed as a same sex marriage and before you ask i'm under going the surgery because it is what i want i know the risks and i accept them, It is what i need to do for me Jennifer

I have lots of male and bio-female friends as well as Trans* male and female friends. All of them know my status and treat me like.. well .. a friend.

An average day starts with me waking up far earlier than I want, getting ready for work, taking a bus to the job, doing research and writing for my company, bussing back home, playing video games or reading a book, talking a little to my fella, sending some email and then taking a shower and going to bed. Not very sexy I know...

I'm not a fan of Shemale or Ladyboy. Shemale has a really nasty history (Google Janice Raymond + Shemale) and Ladyboy is a term for Trans*women from Thailand - as a white woman, it would be inappropriate for that term to be used. It is also mostly used by Westerners for Trans Thai prostiutes. So, I a big fan of being called by my name, barring that Transgendered is swell.

I read parts of the Blog. It's strange because it almost reads like outlaw culture.......in a sense it used to be the same if you rode a motorcycle......something I enjoyed because it was fun and exciting, others saw it as a threat.

I'm not getting rid of the penis. Not because it is particularly importat, but because it is just not at all important to me. The surgery is expensive, and IMO not needed because having a vagina won't make me feel any more of a woman. My identity is not contained in my pants, so having an expensive, potentially disasterous surgery just seems like a silly waste of time.

Right, that makes things slightly clearer. The risk for removal is too high compared to the limited nuisance. So getting a bit more personal, do you use your Penis for sex, or just consider it a bit of floppy, useless skin ?

I suppose this is where the complexities begin to emerge. Women have clitoris, which is erectile tissue and sensitive. So a Penis could be considered a big Clitoris. Your post has me thinking that a biological woman might be quite happy to have a Penis ? and then I begin wondering that if it boils down to the pure physical act of sex, is penetration in the Vagina any different from Anal ?

So, infact a woman with a Penis makes perfect sense. It's really just the mental position on gender.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us ... I, for one, am grateful to learn. I have no TV/TS friends and all I know is what I read. So, please excuse my ignorance and lack of real world experience! Please don't take offence to anything I type. Just reply and set me on the right course!

In Brazil, they use the Portuguese word "boneca" to describe mtf TS's. Boneca translates to "doll" in English. (it can also translate to dolly, puppet, poppet, dummy and poppet-valve)

I like to think of lovely TS's as Dolls -- being a beautiful Lady, above just girls, almost angelic, with a special surprise.

In some cultures (e.g.Thailand) a reference is made to the third sex.

Do you think "Doll" is acceptable?

Since I'm not Brazilian, I can't really answer if it is respectful or not. It depends on how it is used. "Doll" in English can be sweet and give an impression of something special and precious, but it can also be insulting and dismissive. For example"

"She's such a doll" - Not bad, sounds affectionate
"Listen doll, I need you to get those reports" - Not so great. It's dismissive and insulting.

It is all about how words are used in general context.

Jennifer Zack's hair color and boob changes and your opinions of them really don't say anything more about you than what you prefer people to look like. Everyone have opinions and attractions, and friends offer that sort of advice all the time for a variety of reasons - some selfish and some out of genuine desire to help.

A young, super-skinny femme boy in panties might be exciting, especially the Asian ones that are naturally androgynous, but how many people really want to face the reality that a normal guy who set half his high school's track records in 1996 -- a guy who they probably would've hung out with and talked about what chicks they wanted to bang -- that guy was a total emotional disaster who had been crying himself to sleep since he was 3 praying to wake up as a girl. Reality can be a real downer, ya know?

People just call me by my name. Actually, a lotta my gay friends call me "tranny" -- which is nice as long as it's coming from your friends (kinda like black guys calling each other n_____). But every label will insult someone unless it's ambiguous like TS or TG. I think pre-op is annoying because it implies that my lifelong goal is for someone to carve a vagina into me. Many TS girls dismiss me because I don't, though. Besides, isn't a boob job an "op"?
