I forgot to include the games in my list of zombie memorabilia.
My faves: Resident Evil(has horrible voice acting but it spawned the series. Who wants a Jill sandwich?) RE2: City of the Dead RE3: Nemesis RE: Code Veronica RE: Dead Aim(A RE FPS) RE: Outbreak Files #1 and #2 RE: 4(semi FPS with a new enemy, a parasite known as Las Plagas) RE: 5 RE: Zero(enemy is leeches with the Progenitor Virus, predecessor to the T-Virus) Land of the Dead:The Search For Fiddlers Green(kinda lackluster compared to the other big names but very well written and involved if a bit linear) I haven't played Left for Dead, Dead Rising or Stubbs The Zombie so I can't rate them. ![]()

I also forgot to include the Resident Evil titles by S.D. Perry in my list of books. I own them all and they are very well written if you can overlook some of the discrepancies between the books and the games. I am waiting for her to write the RE:4 and RE:5 versions!

I love the RE games , They also did " The Umbrella Chronicles " and it's sequel on the Wii , they are rail shooters.
Dead Rising is the closest you will get to a Dawn of the Dead game ... trapped in a mall full of Zombies is cool and lots of random objects as weapons , pt 2 coming soon. Left 4 Dead and pt 2 are great , if the witch spots you RUN!!!!! Stubbs the Zombie is funny and great to play , you are the zombie and attack the retro future city of Punchbowl PA. :D |

I love Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, and especially Shaun of the Dead. The latter was really hilarious.

I think that by making the zombies fast it re-invigorated the Zombie genre. With the og zombies it was a numbers game , you could outrun them or just walk around them. But w/ fast zombies you needed to be more aware of your surroundings and ammo. One of the most tense moments in a movie is in 28 Days Later when they have to change their tire and you can hear the infected getting closer and closer. Here's hoping that 28 Months Later wraps up the story , the rage virus made it's way to Paris now what?

The frogs will actually get some protein in their diet. Meat is healthier than snails and moldy cheese.

The original Alone In The Dark video game had some wonderful zombie moments in it. If you can find it, and make it run on newer computers, I would highly recommend trying it out(for the PC).

Another game w/ zombie like enemies is " Eternal Darkness " for the Gamecube. Based more on H.P. Lovecraft's work though , it had a great dismemberment game mechanic. Target specific limbs to make the enemies less of a threat , and the game would mess w/ your mind .... you'd be playing and suddenly the screen would go dark or say all your game data was erased. lol
It never sold well but is a great game , a real gem. Get it if you can find a copy. |

Video Games?! Don't you mean murder simtlators. Forget all the shooters and GTA and all it's clones. Let me warn you about the most cruel virtual killer ever ..... Mario.
This italian plumber (mafia hitman) has systematically wiped out numerous defenceless turtles and injested halucinagenic mushrooms and destroyed public property. He is a menace and must be stopped , and Link ! who gives a boy a sword and bombs and sends him into the woods? I'll tell you who .... terrorists! SARCASM - I love games! |

Resident Evil 4 was bitchin! My favorite weapon out of them all was the "Red 9" configuration of the Mauser Broomhandle with the holster/buttstock.
![]() ![]() I went through the whole game with the Broomhandle, the rifle that looked like the M1903 that apparently was chambered in .223, The Chicago Typewriter(Tommy Gun) and the Remington870/Mossberg 500. I did it for the old school feel once I unlocked the Gangster uniform. :D

The chainsaw guy was bad ass. I used the rifle and blew the heads off of 5 zombies (infected w/ plagas) w/ one shot. It was so polite of them to charge at me in single file , the 6th one grabbed his eye and staggered backwards. I have it for the Wii.
