I understand your point, but I prefer the feminine look.

There are many things that can make someone attracted to another. It is totally subjective and unique. In general, I have a pretty good idea of what I like--but that does not mean that someone who does not fit my ideal is any less beautiful. I am always uncomfortable with these sort of questions because it implies that those who don’t meet some kind of ideal standards aren’t acceptable.

Jenae is right: “I’m OK, You’re OK”--hey I’m a 70’s kid, I remember that saying! (Wasn't it a book?) The important thing is to be happy with who you are.

Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder. As we grow older our view of beauty can change. For an old geezer, a fifty year old women can look gorgeous. For a teenager, a fifty year old women would look ancient.
Also "attractiveness" is not necessarily related to beauty. Somebody may be very attractive for intellect, skills or yes, sexuality and not be a beauty. Of course sexual skills and beauty would be a highly desirable combination.

to me that's impossible,,, that said, of course we all see beauty differently, that's part of what makes the world go round. I n a sense you could say that the imperfections or less than 'perfectness' you find so appealing is your definition of beautiful,,,, Catch 22

No it doesn't. Any more that someone who likes Chinese food implies that any other kind of food isn't acceptable. You're making much more of the question that I asked. I'm not the beauty police, and I didn't claim to be. Don't assume the worst of people - most of us arent' that bad.

OK. Then I would say that I am very attracted to transwomen that appear very feminine and would be considered "passable." If you follow my posts you will see who among popular models I like in particular--to say I "have it bad" for Kelly Shore would be an understatement! Coming in a close second would be Camila Saenz and Yeidi Collins (tied). My ex-wife was very beautiful and a former cheerleader. Most people would say I was "well built" and even "good looking." I am also a successful professional (University Professor). I had put some pictures of myself in my profile and Avatar.

You look like you are new to this forum--I have been here a month or so and have really enjoyed being a member. Most here are very "open minded" and for me it has been a great place to discover more about myself and my own sexuality. I have shared quite a bit of personal information (not sure that was wise) and because of a recent incident have changed my profile to silly pictures and info. I feel bad that I had to do this because I felt I could trust others on here. I'm also disappointed because one of my original postings was not well received and the thread has since gone wildly off track--but that is another story.

More than likely going to take some time off--but I'm sure I will be back in time.

Anyway, nice to meet you...

One should be accepting, but that's missing my point. Men don't post pictures of "shemales" with erections here because they respect the person within - it's all about appearance. Of course I respect and understand the difference between the interests of transgendered people in being themselves, and my interest in their appearance. I'm talking strictly about appearance. Being white, I happen to be more sexually attracted to white women than black. That doesn't mean I couldn't vote for a black woman for president - I just grew up around white girls, and now I'm hard-wired with a preference for white skin. That's not absolute, just a preference, just like a preference for redheads.

When an m2f person becomes so pretty that I can't distinguish her from a GG, then she turns me on as a women - and hot women are a dime a dozen, after all. They're not any less attractive because they're genetic boys, they're just not attractive in the "shemale" style to me any more. That doesn't prevent me from respecting their own wishes for themselves - that's another kettle of fish entirely.
