I like your thoughtful perceptive questions. The development of the human embryo as originally female and later on the male genes and hormones kick in to produce a male baby is very important in understanding the male/female aspect of our human nature. I think all of us are still part male and part female.
Outwardly, I am a male and I think like a male but deep inside, I know there is a female essence, the soul if you will. The male ego keeps this female essence suppressed but it is there and can arise if we allow it. It is called Kundalini Yoga in India.
