I guess as a gamer, I'd seem like a jackass if I didn't put in my two cents (these are all my opinion, mind you... I don't wanna piss anyone off)

Halo 3 was a disappointment (multiplayer was the only good thing, cause the campaign sucked)
Starcraft... CLASSIC... I'll bust a nut when I buy and install Starcraft 2
Diablo (1 and 2)... Also a classic (Diablo 3 releases in about a year I think)
WoW... Don't even get me started, because I HATE that game.
City of Villians was decent
I love the Guitar Hero games, Rock Band isn't bad
GTA4 is awesome....

But my favorite of all time is.... METAL GEAR SOLID 4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS!! BEST. GAME. EVER.

Emmmmm..... you must play Ocarina Of Time and/or Crysis. MGS4 was a big dissapoint for me, I expected much more from Kojima than just a movie and a few minutes of gaming.

I'm totally with you on the insanely long cutscenes/codec convos. I've played Ocarina of Time and finished it MULTIPLE times... Even learned how to play Iron Man on the ocarina . My laptop isn't badass enough to power Crysis... Hell, I can't even play The Sims on mine!

Well, the first two sucked as well, so no big surprise there. :D

I'm not a fan of either of those games, Diablo one got boring pretty quickly for me (haven't tried the second yet though) and I'm a fan of the Age of Empires when it comes to RTS games but I have to agree, SC is not too bad.

I hope so too. I'm not sure about the main character but I'll see if he turns out to be okay in November.

If you like stealth-action games I suggest you try the Thief games too, they are awesome.

Niko (the main character in GTA4) turned out to be a better character than Tommy (from GTA3 and Vice City) or that other guy (San Andreas). Rockstar managed to wrap a pretty good story up in this game... I didn't think I was going to like it at all, because I was extremely disappointed with the past titles. As soon as I sat down with it, I was hooked!

Tommy Vercetti appeared only in Vice City, the dude from GTA 3 was called Claude Speed (he also appeared in San Andreas as a racer). San Andreas guy was CJ, Carl Johnson, and her ex-girlfriend went with Claude from GTA3.

I wasn't disappointed at all with them. I loved Vice City and San Andreas, GTA3 wasn't bad either but the two other are a lot better. I'm sure R* wrote a great story again for the main character but I'm not so sure about Niko himself. I hope you're right and I'll like hom too. Though after Tommy and CJ he is gonna have a tough job to impress me. :D
