Newbie here, but I still want to inject my 2 cents.

Reality shows, by definition, are cruel and it's amazing what some people will do for their 15 minutes of fame. In fact, if I was one of those guys, my spider-sense would be tingling like a mother-fuck. Whether any of them prefer shemales or not is beside the point. The guys were tricked and have a right to be angry. But on the other hand, what did they freakin' expect?? Maybe not a shemale, but if they were expecting a simple "Bachelor"-like scenario, they're pretty naive. In reality TV, there is always a punchline.

I think it's a horrible thing to do. For one, I think the guy was in a difficult situation with everyone guffawing like that. I mean, it's like a bunch of jocks being in on a joke (As if being with a TS is a joke) and then she comes up and says that she's "not a woman". I duno, but it seems like a terrible thing to have on national tv: The producers effectively tried to cement the idea of TS being not-women.

Tom was used, so was she. Take the other guys, in the boat, go out to sea, tie ten thousand pounds ( weight, not money) to them and throw them overboard. Do the same for the network crew, they used Miriam for a joke and to embarrass Tom.
The reality is, there is a big stereo type prejudice against TS gurls. You like the idea in your porno computer mind but in real life, there is a big taboo of it all. Here is a former guy ( Miriam) who from early life was always a girl. A feeling and belief so strong that she put aside her friends, her family and risked public ridicule to be the girl she really always was.
Guys that can't think beyond their dick shouldn't have one.
