Hmm I never thought about transexualism in nature before. I know that some animals are gay.

I think I agree with the thrust of your argument. Another point is we do it because we have the choice , we are sentient beings and its a higher state of consciousness. Lots of us, myself for example cant go all the way and are not into being with gays no matter how open to it we are. These are limits which are hard wired into us but to put no self imposed limits on who you can love or be with is an advanced higher state of consciousness in my opinion.
