Well fall has arrived the leaves are starting to change here but just about noticeable. winter is just around the cornner i can smell snow all ready
hell don't even need to wait for winter for snow around here.
it was chilly last weekend i took my a/c's out of the window temps last weekend were in the upper 30's to mid 40's.
i stocked up on batteries for those nasty nor-easters because we are prone
power outages here.

Default Indiana Tornado

While proud to be from Michigan, I actually lived in Indiana for a while and got my undergrad (Industrial Management) from Purdue in West Lafayette. If you have ever been there, you know that it is in the "middle of nowhere" and the surrounding area is flat and ripe for tornadic activity. Kind of "tornado alley lite."

:D I live in deep South Texas and I have definitely been through many "blue northers"
The weather can be sunny and 95 degrees, and then a strong northern barrels through and it can be in the 30's in a matter of minutes/hours!

(the summers are so long and hot here, that when the first real cold front does come through, I always have a party to celebrate!)

Texas does have great thunderstorms and big, open vistas to watch the weather.
I lived in the Pacific Northwest for a several years and the three things I really missed were barbeque, real Tex-Mex and thunderstorms!

I do miss the change of seasons/foliage color that DSL mentions though...

Most extreme? Been through blizzards, several hurricanes, have seen three tornados, many hailstorms, and was pretty close to the Jarrel, Tx tornado which was an F5. (I lived in Austin) The sky turned an eerie green color.

Coolest? Northern Lights for sure. Love sunsets too.
Current weather: Dark (its night) Tomorrow: hot! (96/75) muggy, sunny, very green, scattered puffy clouds...
