That does not sound too sanitary. Anyhoo, I was reading something awhile back that said that the longer sperm is stored in the human body(AKA-no sex or masturbation), the greater the chance for genetic degradation and birth defects should the same sperm fertilize an egg. If that can happen within your body, it would be safe to assume that it can happen in an unrefrigerated container.
