What I was getting at was that the straight spectrum of porn is just soooo much larger, so there's more established search engines. I could normally track down the scenes of a decently established actress with about 80% confidence.
With trans it's much more difficult, even if they shoot less scenes on average, because so much of the info isn't out there. When you consider that brazilians tend to use different names and different spellings of the same name, it makes it rather difficult.
I could also understand why they try to stay away from barebacking. The men in these films are inheranty more risky to have sex with, as they don't film enough scenes to support themselves on the shemale cohort alone. That means they are probably shooting gay scenes, possibly hooking, maybe have another job entirely. That means the porn is probably a side thing for them, and they'll be much more likely to be having sex with folks that aren't getting tested.
Consider the heightened risk for HIV exposure in receptive anal sex, and it makes it much more difficult. Many of these guys are in the bottom position during the sex, or switch. So think of it this way--dude A get's banged and becomes HIV positive, then bangs Shemale B--who bangs Guy C and then it perpetuates itself among other partners.
Obviously in straight porn all those risks remain, but maybe the risk is considered more acceptable.
