Hank is one of this board's most outstanding members. He is an awesome contributor here and we would all do well to heed his thoughts.

On the other hand, I did say to Hank in a PM that I needed more info on his beef with CG to share it. I didn't agree then and I don't agree now.

Still, this is clearly a very personal issue for Hank. It would be a shame if he permanently left the forum over this, but maybe a break to get away from the source of affliction while the anger is greatest is the most prudent course of action?

I'm also glad Hank created this thread for a reason that has since emerged. Racquel has come to the fore in this thread and made me take notice of her amazing erudition and wit. Out of dark times, there are always positives.

All the best, Hank! And I truly hope I'm not saying that for the last time. This community -- and, dare I say, given the prevalence of the Internet, the trans-world at large -- is a lot poorer without you.

To set some things straight here:

1. In the original post to this thread Hank attached a PM that he received. The PM says it is a warning. No one gets banned from the site for a warning and most warnings expire after three days. Therefore Hank is not getting banned nor is he even close to getting banned.

2. In the same attachment it says who gave the warning. The warning did not come from any of the moderators. It came from the owner of the site. As such no moderator can answer the questions that Hank is asking the moderators to answer because moderators are not privy to any correspondance that the site owner receives.

3. Warnings are given if a member breaks any of the forum rules.

I have PMed the site owner so that he may address these issues raised here. I am going to lock this thread until the site owner comes on here at which time he may unlock the thread again or delete posts or whatever else he chooses to do.
