Digital Memory is very long. I have digital records of an amazing amount of stuff going back to the 80s. As soon as my scanner is done with it's current project that digital memory will be back to the 70s for everything personal.

I'd scan all the books and magazines on the shelves if it did not destroy them too. What you do like that will never go away in terms of media memory.

Personal memory lasts as long as you do (and those close to you). If you and
they are comfortable--do it. But, once done--it is not taken back.

Plus there is a legitimate increase in risk that may offset present financial return. -mS
