Are you gay? My opinion....
Good Morning,
I wanted to put in my 2 cents worth on this topic. I want to preface by saying as I did in a post last year, that I've been friends with male homosexuals and would continue to be if I met someone with similar outside interests. I never saw any of those guys as being a lover. There were some of those that did and it was uncomfortable for our friendship. Personally, this man is attracted to woman. The lines, curves, cheekbones, lips, ass, breasts, pussy, and if she has a cock to start, that is perfect. I like pussy, eating, fucking, fingering, but to be able to get fucked in the ass by a beautiful woman is a dream come true. I have had a woman fuck me with a strap-on. I liked my ass filled, but a soft pliable cock feels so much better. For me anyway, I saw Buck Angel profiled one day on a DirecTV/cable show. Seemed like a real nice person, but, I wasn't aroused. I don't personally believe your gay if you like a woman with a cock. With regards to all, tsloverboid |

Same here. With that said, the shemales that do turn me on are the ones that look like a woman. Therefore, I'm not attracted to men and have no desire to be with one.

This debate comes up again and again and yet there is no definitive answer. Probably because we all enter this in different ways and certainly develope differently too.
Personally, I have via my approach to the transsexual arena developed a "taste" also for very feminine gays, so for me I believe there is a degree of bisexuality in it, but that is only me. I know guys who would deny any kind of attraction to anything masculine but still are in love with transsexual women. On the other hand I also find that in transsexual women there often is an almost enormous femininity that cisgendered women rarely have, so maybe it really is both worlds. To me a transsexual woman with her hard penis standing tall and ready for action is TOTALLY feminine. A penis to me has now almost lost its value as a masculine attribute and become a symbol of femininity... i I kid you not - and to some extent this was the case from the very first time I spent quality time with a transsexual woman. Her cock was so delisciously feminine. So am I gay? What ever... H

I think I can identfy with all of the above. One should ask themselves if they are attracted to a certain individual regardless of what sex that person is. Then make a determination. I go for a feminine appearance, so I have to include nice looking cross dressers. It really doesn't matter what label, I know what I like. I am no more attracted to all people of one sex than I am to all flavors in an ice cream shop.
In my opinion, is a straight guy who likes transexuals in a porn site, suddenly gay? NO. |

My definition of the term "gay" would be that a person would do everything that he'd do to the opposite sex with the same sex. So under that definition, I'm not gay at all. I love everything about women, and I also love cock. I'll even have sex with a guy. But I could never fall in love with a man or be attracted to a man. I just like both sets of sexual parts. I don't know what I'd be considered (since as far as I know being bi involves being attracted to both sexes, and I'm not), but that's how I am.

I fully respect all the opinions expressed so far ..
But for me, the thought of having a Male lover just leaves me cold .. not appalled, not horrified .. just cold (as in disinterested) .. Similarly, I've never had any desire to be fucked by anyone .. Transgendered, RG or Male .. Equally, I've never had any desire to "Dress" myself ... I'm quite happy with the fact that I enjoy the company of Transgendered women & am in love with one .. Seeing her "En drab" is no problem either, simply because whatever the outside "wrapper" says, she's still the person I love on the inside .. As it happens, my Girlfriend has decided, for her own reasons to remain "Non-Op" .. which suits me just fine .. I love her, not just in the physical sense but in the spiritual sense too .. as a loving, caring, passionate person who makes me very happy to be with .. Whether that makes me "Gay", "Bi" or "Straight" is irrelevant .. to me .. I'm just plain old Me ... Bye for now, Orion .. |

it's a well debated topic... perhaps we should not focus on 'labels' (although i do understand our humanistic behavior of needing to identify with something ) so i just tend to consider myself 'a sexual being'.
isn't it the age old adage of 'if you are not hurting anyone, who cares?' perhaps my view is slightly too simplistic...LOL oh well...i say 'if it feels good - do it!' boy-girl... boy-boy... girl-girl... |

I wouldn't consider myself gay, I'm not attracted to the male form/looks in any way at all. I love women and I love shemales but who are more she than male, except for the one obvious bit in the undercarriage dept. My wife and I have a fantastic sex life and we do roll reversal, she does me with a strapon and we're both very happy with this. I cross dress and so on....

Alright, I've thought about this topic over the years, and as it relies on semantic labels, I will allow my argument to resort to similar semantics. (BTW, I'm not a fan of semantic labels, but isn't asking "are you gay?" seeking to label people from the get go?)
If you are a guy, and you like female pre-operative transexuals/she-males...Guess what, you like someone of the SAME sex as you. Their chromosomes and genitals are the same as yours. And the distinguishment between "gay" and "straight" is technically based on sex, which is a biological construct. So yes, you like people of the same sex-- regardless of whatever perverted reasons or fantasies you possess, and regardless of which gender the person presents. Just because the person who is the same sex as you looks like the opposite gender, the question is not, "Are we homo-gendered?" Instead, it is, "Are we homosexual?" If one accepts that gender and sex are separate concepts, than one's homosexuality should be removed from one's attraction to gender roles. If you don't accept than gender and sexuality are separate concepts, than the more homophobic among us are on a slippery slope, because they're being "gay" in one way or another. I'm sure this will be an unattractive opinion, as many just can't bring themselves to admitting a socialized stigmatized label is descriptive of them-- but so be it. |

why?! why!? why!?
Why is this so damn important to everyone? Clearly, some of these endless discussions about whether admirers of transsexuals are gay are instigated and continued by men who are looking to rationalize how they feel, in an effort to get past their homophobia. It's obvious from some of the postings. But really, isn't it just enough to be who you are, accept it, and get on with things?
Enough already!!!!!! |

I'm no shrink, but ...
It occurs to me that there is a real danger in these ongoing "am I gay" discussions by the worriers among transsexual admirers. Some of the discussion is certainly on a purely intellectual level. But how much? More important, though, at least in my opinion, is this concern: if one reads the stories of TS-bashing on other threads, such as the one started by Bionca not long ago regarding the Transsexual Day of Remembrance, one finds example after example of men having sex with a TS and afterwards becoming violent. Why? Could it be a reaction to the internalized homophobia that these men feel after acting on their sexual desire? Of course, that's a very likely answer.
This compels me to plead the following with all of you who keep asking, with such worry in your tones, whether your attraction means you're gay. Keep your attraction to looking at pictures and videos on the web, and perhaps webcam sessions. Do not pick up a date at a bar or hire an escort. If you are worried about this making you "gay," you may be a potential basher after you've had your pleasure. I have no doubt that a lot of shit will be generated by this post, so let it begin. But this is important. |

Look, I love the pussy and beautiful gurls... I am not attracted to guys. I'm tired of this subject being beat to death on this forum. If you are really THAT worried about being "gay" then leave, just stop. I mean really, you gotta be true to you, fuck labels. Simple as that, make a fucking choice. smc pretty much summed it up right.

If telling yourself that "We're a seperate sex" gets you off, go for it. But not technically. You like a dick. And a dick is a product of an XY chromosome pairing. Maybe you don't like a dick on a masculine guy, but if you like it on a she-male...Guess what, you still like a dick! The better construct than sex, or "homosexual," or "heterosexual," at least in the case of this discussion, is a shift of paradigm towards gender. And many homosexual and heterosexual relationships successfully operate in homo- and hetero- gendered roles. GENDER is what is being changed, not sex. The sexual perception is just that...A perception. But whereas the sex originates in chromosomes, the gender-conception (and perception) originates in the mind. And quite frankly, science has much less of a firm grip on developmental neurology than they do the development of biological sex (genitals, etc.). The irony of this, of course, is that a pre-operative transexual is treated by the law of the land by "sex" law...If you've got a penis and are chromosomally a man, you can't marry another man; regardless of how much you look like a woman. The law paradigm shifts though once you are a post-operative transexual towards a more genderfied basis... At any rate, I don't mean to be combatitive just for the sake of argument. But any of you people that are "so opposed" to being labeled ANYTHING, MUCH LESS "gay," I feel you are dealing with a certain ingrained personal homophobia and self-hatred. Trust me, as a transgendered individual, I've dealt with it plenty, and had LOTS of questions about just who/what I am. The fact is, society deals in labels. And I can appreciate philosophical arguments against them, truly I can. But no amount of my or your logic will convince most people. So I find the best way to make labels moot is to accept any and all of them. In doing so, their power is stolen...And you don't have to suddenly become some big LGBT-gay-pride-parade marcher...You just accept what some people will think and move on. Big deal! I was talking to one of my lesbian couple friends about this concept, and questioning whether she was the "husband," or the "wife." Nevermind they're not married...The more we can steal labels, accept them, and move on, the less a hetero-normative society has claim to them. So for trans-admirers...Don't call your ladies "she-males," call them "females." And don't be afraid to be "gay," anymore than we are. Getting TRULY past labels involves more than just a willingness to argue how unneccesary they are. |

I like a lot of fetishes but I'm not into men. I love both a tranny and a woman with a strap on fucking another shemale or female. I'm not too into guys taking it or sucking on it but I love to see shemales do that. I don't think you can just put people in one of two categories, people are all over the spectrum.

Don't worry......be happy
Most of my life I have worried about if it was wrong for me to french kiss a beautiful tgirl as my hand slides into her panties gripping her hard cock and roll my thumb around his swollen cockhead. Sliding my hands over her silk-pantie covered bottom, grinding his hard cock in the front of his panties into my swollen cock. Gripping her tightly round her strictly corsetted waist as I force my tongue down his willing throat. Allowing her to slide down onto her silky stockinged knees, her red talloned fingers deftly removing my hard cock and sliding it between his carmine coated lips again and again, her big dangling earrings jangling as his chin bangs against my balls rythmically until i fill his mouth with my hot salty seed.
Does it matter who's face I am fucking...no, do I worry who's face I am fucking...no, am I happy to have shot my load.........yeeeeeeeessssssss. Am I gay....... |

It is obvious that everyone has different views on this topic, so define yourself as what you think you are and as you feel. In the first years when I discovered my attraction to t-girls, I used ask myself a lot about the sexual orientation. I simply decided to think I´m straight but as time passed by, I realized that the whole labeling makes no sense. Most of us who admire t-girls are not attracted to men, so we´re not gay. The cock alone doesn´t make up the gender. But the fact that the ladies we love have cocks doesn´t make as straight either, so waste no time on labels. People who don´t understand will always label you.

Not gay but love cock
I've been married for 20+ years and have sucked a ton of cock. I love tgurls and have the opportunity here in the Bay Area to meet quite a few at a local sex club. While not all of the cock that I've sucked has been attached to a tgurl, I certainly do prefer that. I have never been attracted to a male form, other than his/her cock. As others have already said, it's the femininity of the tgurl that turns me on the most. What else can I say? I certainly have never had an emotional attraction to a man either, hence, I do not believe I'm gay. I took a recent survey on a swinger site that we belong to. It indicated that I'm 75% straight and 25% gay. There are many closeted cock lovers within the swing community.

I have to agree with the TC. Men do not turn me on at all, but seeing great looking women with cocks makes me horny as hell. I would NEVER consider sucking the dick of a man, but a shemale is an entirely different animal.

I'm not sure? I don't like men. But there is one man who frequents the bars in my town that is very feminine, and I wondered what he would look like naked. I like feminine qualities. The more feminine, the better. I appreciate this place, because everyone makes me feel normal. I'm not ashamed anymore. I'm in a relationship with a female, and I love her with all my heart. She's understanding of everything that I like. I would never cheat on her. But if we broke up, I'd consider dating a TS as well as other females. I think TS's are females, and not males.

Judge yourself and don't let others do it for you. If you think you're gay then you are gay. If you think you're heterosexual then you are heterosexual. Don't let anyone give you labels that you don't think are appropriate or that make you uncomfortable. Be yourself and enjoy your sexuality.

I know I'm not the first person to say this, & I probably won't be the last. (& I'm sure this subject will continue to be discussed on this thread & others) But I have come to the conclusion that there is no black & white answers when it comes to human sexuality.
Some time ago I was flipping through a magazine & I came across a spread with a girl & a guy having sex. Now, the girl was hot, & (up to that time) I cannot recall having any sexual attraction outside of my gender, or even to trans women. But, at that moment, I suddenly wondered if it was the guy I was attracted to. At first I dismissed the possibility, but soon I became OBSESSED with the idea that I was GAY. I actively sought ought homo erotic images, & found I was intensely aroused by them. Then, just as quickly, I found that the VERY SAME IMAGES NO LONGER AROUSED ME. During this time, I continued to be aroused by images of genetic woman, & I also became interested in Trans woman. I did a lot of soul searching & I noticed some things about myself that I hadn't really thought about before that time. First my leg and foot fetish never went away; I found that I had just broadened the category of people whose legs & feet aroused me. Second, I remembered that while I was going through puberty, I had hated some of the changes that were happening to me. (Especially the hair on my body & me legs. I even shaved my legs during my freshmen year of high school.) I also remembered that the guy in that magazine spread that had begun this entire transition was completely smooth (no one hair), & he wasn't really beefy, he was fit but in a natural way. I definitely was not attracted to men who were muscular or hairy, but I was attracted to men with feminine or even androgynous characteristics. I had come to identify myself as bisexual, but still thought of myself as being on the more straight side of the line. But, then, as began to do my own research into human sexuality I came to the conclusion that I stated in the first paragraph. There is no hard, or even soft line between gay, straight, bisexual, omnisexual, or anything else. There is just an unbroken continuum of human sexuality. Unbroken, until we name its various shades, just as we break up the the color spectrum into different colors. And, while some people may fall on one end of that spectrum or the other. There are many more people who fall somewhere in between. At least that's the way this particular bisexual androgyne leg lover feels about it. Thanks for your time & opinions. What is in a name?
I believe sexual orientation, and certainly sexual experience, to be far more fluid than most people realize. The only self-descriptor for me is bisexual, although this term can certainly have multiple meanings. At the very least it means that I have had sex with both men and women. However, what it doesn't say is that, although I have had far more male than female partners, I have been emotionally closer and in actual relationships with nearly all the women and only one of the men. Yet there was a long period in my life when I identified exclusively as gay and two even longer periods when I considered myself straight. And what of the person who has fantasies of sex with a same sexed person yet never acts on them. I think in the end terms like gay or straight fail us - and even bisexual is, at best, limiting.

My thoughts are that if you have to ask yourself whether you are something, chances are that you are probably not. It would probably be more beneficial to ourselves if we asked ourselves the question, but in a slightly different way, ie 'should I accept my sexuality, live with it and move on'
As said many times before, both in this thread and others, there is no definitive answer. having said that, I do believe that there is one definitive part of the whole scenario that is a constant. That is, if you like sexual intimacy with a penis other than your own ( lets us wankers off the hook there ) then you aint hetero. As far as the intimate side of things go, I don't feel that a desire for penetrative anal sex either as giver or receiver is indicative of homosexuality, I think it is more simple than that, ie, just another of the zillions of things that can be described as a 'fetish' in sexual terms. Bottom line is that it's your life, your body, your mind, live with it, live with the consequences, if any, and don't let self appraisal, self critisism or self denial, become a barrier against your well being. |
