The jury is still out on the effects of silicone. There have been a number of lawsuits over silcone breast implants. I was listening to Dr Dean Edell on the radio and he said there has never been any medical study to support the big settlements that have been awarded. The problems reported occur at the same rate as for women who haven't had implants. This not to make light of the issues these women have, but they could be having the same problems even if they hadn't had implants.

Eveyone should weigh the pros and cons, then make their own informed decision.
