Personally, I have a broad back and can take a beating or five, but the fact is that other posters will feel turned off by the haters taking over, and that will make an otherwise good forum go down. Because they just disappear. And suddenly it's all hell, yet another forum taken over by the nasties with their sinister agenda.

Personally, I'm here to share thoughts and experiences about a subject that, my goodness, needs all the positive charisma it can possibly get. Enough people out there are laughing their asses off over all us pathetic freaks, so maybe it would be prudent to hold a bit back on the temper, count to ten and then post in a more reasonable way so that we at least can keep tone among ourselves.

In the end, we're here to enjoy, not to hate.

I've added plenty to the discussion of TS issues. Or would reading those end up making you point a finger at an escort you support instead? Notice I have been followed in thread after thread by an angry prostitute. Nothing happened when I joined until I voiced my opinion on the issue of hooking, and now everyone is up in arms.

I'm fully aware you are not solely guilty in this unfortunate mess. However, I wrote a general appeal, not one with specific names in it.

Do indeed use your own words, but use them prudently. As soon as you get drawn into a verbal fight it just escalates. Step back and leave the aggressiveness to others. If not it all ends up in chaos.

Look, I made a point. It's not really up for discussion - merely my personal view about how to interact on a forum. If you disagree, be my guest.

I'm not here to also start a fight with you.

I didn't call you out... you did yourself in such a way that you left me no option but to react. Besides, I fail to see what this particular discussion, we're having here, has to do with my knowledge or the opposite of transsexuality. So far you and I have never discussed transsexuality here as far as I remember.

Maybe we should try? Especially if it could keep your feisty mind a bit off all the fights you otherwise could get into ;-)

Hankhavelock is right, I too have noted some aggressiveness in these forums.

In the past I have seen forums shut down, and have left forums because of aggressiveness of its members. I certainly don't want that here.

This is not to say we shouldn't disagree if we find a post disagreeable. Civility is the key word here. No need to be aggressive about it. Life is too short.

Here is the deal: My anger is a direct result of your insult and this board's moderators failure to intercede.

No one asked your opinion, not to mention your nasty personal comments directed at me, my appearance and my value as a person. It was a question posed as to escorting and whether it would interfere with a possible romance. You volly insults at an individual who has shown all of herself, from behind your computer without showing your face or identity. The fact this board would tolerate this conduct, especially toward an established member of the TS scene, is a strike against it. Buit not surprising seeing that virtually no one but myself apparently has the guts to show themsleves, face, name, location and all. This board is for wanna-bees and those who prefer anonymity and you fit right in.

May I add, and this is directed toward all commenters, I quite frankly don't give a shit if my comments make others here less inclined to post.

The thing about allies is that it implies that there are enemies. I mean, come on, there's an ignore function and you shouldn't be worked up but some idiot. Everyone can see who the troll is, but you look just as bad when you respond to that one person. i find that when i meet people that do really fucked up things, break the law, are abusive, are cruel,and you call them on it you hear "you dont know what i have been through" i hear it a lot, like a rough childhood is an excuse to be a bastard. it isnt. life sucks ass for everyone. its all the same shit storm and we have to weather it. now this obviously doenst apply to you, as you werent talking about yourself so no worries on that front.
i will go and read her blog/website in a second. but i can bet that she isnt the only person to have beaten up, raped, molested by family or pimped out by uncle. so if the majority of these people can have these really horrible things happen to them and move on, so can she.
the whole "i got beat up because i am gay thing" also has to stop. so what you got beat up because you are DIFFERENT. i got beat up because i wore glasses and liked D&D. shit i had to lick some kids shoes in high school, the BOTTOM in front of all sorts of people. i still have nightmares about it 17 years later. that shit strips your self esteem, but it doesnt give me an excuse to abuse others, to come into a forum like a human hurricane and spew my hate at everyone because i feel that life dealt me a bad hand.

its not an excuse for poor behavior. so i dont care where you have been, and what you have been through, what matters is what you are doing today, and what you will do with the time you have in the future. will you make everyone as miserable as you feel, or will you make life a better place by not being the kind of person that fucked you up in the first place
