Shirley MacLaine
 and Clint Eastwood in Two Mules for Sister Sara (1970). Thinking she's a nun, Clint rescues "Sister Sara" from the bad guys in the beginning and they form a friendship. Eventually, Clint figures out she's not who she seems to be and they end up falling in love.  Clint is totally badass as usual.

Clint again. No he’s not a “Diva,” but the women are of course… Sondra Locke would be one of my early “crushes.” Also Clint’s longtime partner in the 70’s and 80’s. The Gauntlet was a departure from his early Westerns and Dirty Harry movies. Sondra plays a witness to a mob killing and Clint is the detective assigned to escort her from Las Vegas to Phoenix. Of course they are “set up” by the bad guys. The “bus” scene is implausible but totally awesome and of course the movie has a good ending.
Sondra is definitely my type here. Very beautiful and sexy. She is smart and doesn't take shit from anyone. Never knew why she didn’t get more work as an actress. (The movie was filmed in 1976, several years before I was born. I have visited the Southwest US as an adult and been to both Las Vegas and Phoenix even driving the route traveled in the movie. It’s amazing how little was out there 40 years ago. I think they still tested atomic bombs.  )

Haven't posted any of Hayley in at least a day or two.
There's a couple of earlier pics here but she is at least 18 in all of them. How do I know? She's my all-time #1 favorite celebrity, trust me, I know... (Too bad she's only 16 on "All We Know Is Falling" or else I'd post the videos for Emergency and Pressure. Go to YouTube and check them out. For a group of teen-age friends from Tennessee it's pretty awesome. Actually it would be awesome even if they were 35 and had been playing together for 20 years. It's called talent. )

In order, Eva Marton, Dame Kiri TeKanawa, Leontyne Price, Benita Valente, Catherine Malfitano, and Julia Migenes Johnson. I'll never forget findinding that stack of Opera News magazines in the attic when I was a kid. I spent a lot of time up there after that!

Manon Flier of the Netherlands women's national volleyball team. 6'4" and gorgeous.
Plus she's a phenomenal athlete. Her vertical jump is similar to that of an NBA player, giving her the ability to spike the ball on almost anyone. I noticed a thread earlier featuring women "towering" over guys. Manon and I are about the same height and very close in age. I guess with high heels on she'd be several inches taller but that's fine with me. She is considered one of the most beautiful athletes in the world and one of the greatest volleyball players ever. I have posted pictures of her on here before and lamented the fact that Amsterdam is about 4000 miles from Indianapolis plus we are married to other people. (A wise person once said "height doesn't matter when you're both lying down." )
