Sorry guys but... we DO have a "period". Well those of us of hormones do. The monthly injection or pill floods our system with Estrogen, heightening our sensitivity and reactions. The usual dose for many transwomen is the same level of Estrogen as that of a woman 8 months pregnant - at least initially.

If a T-gal has to go without Estrogen after starting the therapy, she will become "edgy" and have different mood swings as her body resumes its production of testosterone...
