The U.S. Navy was forced to apologize on Wednesday after one of its pilots pulled a stunt involving phallic imagery.

Indeed, it seems a member of the U.S. military drew a penis in the sky. One might say this pilot was a little too cocky.

Officials from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Washington state sent a statement to KREM 2 News admitting one of their aircraft was used to create the sexually charged sky art after a local mother reached out to the news station to complain. The mother was reportedly worried the imagery could have a negative impact on her children.

“New data reveal the interstellar interloper to be a rocky, cigar-shaped object with a somewhat reddish hue. The asteroid, named Oumuamua by its discoverers, is up to one-quarter mile (400 meters) long and highly-elongated—perhaps 10 times as long as it is wide. That aspect ratio is greater than that of any asteroid or comet observed in our solar system to date. Its elongated shape is quite surprising, and unlike asteroids seen in our solar system…

The observations and analyses were funded in part by NASA and appear in the Nov. 20 issue of the journal Nature. They suggest this unusual object had been wandering through the Milky Way, unattached to any star system, for hundreds of millions of years…”

After seeing the picture below, my first thought was of course about the possibility of life on other planets. Who knew “ET” was so well-endowed?

Saw this picture pop up in an ad this morning on MSNBC when I was reading about the Amtrak crash. The caption said something about "Indiana Homeowners born in 1985 or before." Good grief! I didn't realize this was the perception of people in their 30's. Ouch!!! No wonder Dove Cameron hasn't texted me in a while. I may not leave the house today...
