Not only are they beautiful, what they do is actually pretty awesome (and dangerous). Consider how few can drive at this level. Then compare it to the number of active players in other professional sports such as the NFL or NBA. If you've only seen racing on TV you really need to attend a race in person. This is what Courtney (see above) does for a living. This particular run was 320 MPH (514 km).
