I use a razor and cold cream instead of shaving cream. It moisturizes, and gives a closer shave, as well as tingles.

I quit shaving my pubic area years ago. The hair grew back too quickly and my pubic area was always red from irritation after shaving. It didn't matter whether I used shaving cream, soap, or shampoo I always ended up with red irritated skin. Instead I tweezed out all my pubic hair. Some hair grows back, but it's easy to get out and I'm not left with red irritated skin. I also like the look and feel of a completely hairless pubic area.
