Just take a nice and relaxed dump.Douching three times is too much unless you eat crap all the time.

I eat as clean as I can and I just douche once before I take a nice cock in,somethng like an hour before sex.

Once a day is OK, and recommended that you use no more than 2 quarts of water. Adding salt, such as Celtic or Kosher salt ( a teaspoon per quart) to the water is suggested, so not upset the chemical balance.
Also, maybe add a bit of water base Lube to the Brownie Hole, before commencing the enema . . makes things that much more smoother and your 'bumhole' happier.
And finally, prime time to have a enema before Anal Play is 1 to 2 hours before anticipated play / fun

Adjusting your diet makes the cleaning routine a lot easier. I never had much luck with enema, instead ensuring my stool was "clean" (not too soft or sticky) worked a lot better for me.
An alternative to enema (which sometimes results in water being trapped inside creating a huge accident later) is using lots of lube and toying a bit, if the toy and lube come out clean, you should be ok.
Lastly, another, overkill nethod: fasting. If you do that for 24 hours (including sleep) it is almost guaranteed that after the last dump, you will be very clean.
I do that before I'm about to have some special fun, works every time.

I found a post that said not to put too much liquid in to clean - to put in just enough to clean the bit you can insert your finger into.

I used to put in as much as I could possibly hold - but this ended up causing peristalsis - ending up in unwanted bowel movement and mess.

So, like the old saying - less is more.
