Never read the comments, it's like that nearly everywhere.

I'm in something of a different boat, but it's arguably on the same water: I'm attracted to cis men and trans women. In some spaces, this is easily bi or queer, but in some other spaces, even other trans spaces, there is always a handful of people who make this out to be more complicated, sometimes even accusing me of not really accepting trans women as women. Sometimes being a trans man, there are a handful of trans women who feel inclined to cut me some slack on that, but it does bother me that there are always people who seem inclined to go out of their ways to complicate things that are actually pretty straightforward.
