For 48 years now I have strictly adhered to the Seefood diet. That means that when I see food, I eat it.
Here is a list of essentials: 1/ Brown soda bread, baguettes, scones, begels. 2/ Fresh veggie, e.g. Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, avocado, carrot, parsnip, mange-tout, French beans, tomato, mushroom, peppers, spinach &c. 3/ Fresh fruit: Banana, Grapefruit, orange, satsumas/mandarins, kiwi, plum, pear, apples, mangos, strawberries, raspberries, loganberries, blackberries &c. 4/ Oily fish: Mackerel, tuna, trout, salmon, brill, cod, John Dory, kingfish &c &c. 5/ Shellfish: scampi, prawns, lobster, crab, mussels. 6/ Meats: Venison, beef, lamb. 7/ Poultry: Duck, chicken, Turkey, Goose, pheasant &c. 8/ Eggs in all forms. (Plus bacon & sausage in hotels) 9/ Mayonnaise, Tartare sauce, brown gravy, vinaegret &c. 10/ Tap water, Tea, Coffee, Tonic, fruit juices, wine, beer, Guinness, Port, Mediera, Armagnac, Gin, Whiskey, Whisky (Malt) In 1965 I weighed 87 kilos/190-odd lbs.
