Jason, I believe that the vids on that site may have brought some repressed feelings to the surface. I know in my case, my feelings were so repressed (namely, due to my background and trying to live up to something that I could never be). I can relate, I'm the repression poster girl! when I was in my twenties I repressed my gender feelings by enlisting in the military and volunteering for every dangerous assignment that I could.
