Edit or not, my initial intention should be aware in the unedited post and would only be refined for literary clarity or apology given the individual case. While I find the situation to be upsetting, there was no pre-planned or post-edit scamming that I know of. I was upset, and contacted ILA as I was advised.

Lots of fancy words. The bottom line is that you changed your post after it was quoted, and thus precipitated all this crap for which you should take some responsibility. Notably, you do not.
