I don't know if every case would be the same, but in tslust's case, it was mainly due to his violation of her trust. He knew that she wanted to have safe sex with him, yet he placed his sexual gratification over her health and well-being. He was a scumwad, and I am just thankful that her tests came back negative.

A lot of times it may not be that the person doesn't want "cum in their ass", just that it would not be safe for them to have it done to them. If their partner is someone that they know (a long-term relationship) and trust and they have been given a clean bill of health(full range of testing) then perhaps they would allow it to happen. Again, this may not be the case for everyone.

You hit the nail on the head. Trust is key to consensual sex, especially for the receiving partner (me). I have to be able to trust the guy to play by my rules.

I've moved past hating him. Don't get me wrong, I still feel violated just thinking about it. I don't look at guys the same way any more and am a lot more selective. But I can't hate the scumbag. Life has to go on and brooding on it doesn't do me any good. It is simply a learning experience.
