Something stinks about that whole situation. Perhaps the Mod had some personal stakes in that particular club?

Drug use happens in a lot of big city clubs. Pointing out that it "surely couldn't happen" because the club says they don't allow it is just another way of sticking one's head in the sand.

That forum is a waste of time. Too much trash talk (and people) and flame wars. HA's best members who used to post there for many years or were part of that "community" since its early days simply left a long time ago or barely post. I'm actually shocked that they've banned you because that's impossible on HA unless you wrote something personal about one of the moderators. It used to be a nice place when I joined them but this is past.

De nada - Had to be done. Club owners/promoters can be the worst... whenever there's a chance to stick it to 'em, I do so. (15 years as a working musician will put that kind of chip squarely on your shoulder.)

I used to hang at HA. Right after it started, it was a fun place to be, but over time it got to be too confrontational and negative for my tastes. Haven't been on there in over a year.

Haven't been here in a while either...I've missed this place so, so much...and I'm so happy to be able to be back...and with a new avatar!!

Gotta be honest and say I've not found a forum I enjoy as much as TLB...it is the best!
