You can acquire HIV through unprotected oral sex should you have any of the following issues in your mouth:

a) Bleeding Gums
b) Cold sores, canker sores, herpes, syphilis sores
c) Chapped lips/broken lips, chapped splits/open wounds
d) Bite wounds to tongue, inner cheeks, lips
e) Tongue Piercings/Lip rings

Unless I misremember my biology you have had semen in your mouth. Small amounts of it to be sure but you have had semen in your mouth. Trace amounts of it are often ejaculated along with the precum--whatever the real name for that might be.

Theoretically the risks of oral sex are less than with receptive anal sex. The mechanics of taking a cock in your ass increase the likelihood of tearing the mucous membranes in your rectum which can enable bacteria that causes STD's and the the HIV virus from entering your system.

Giving a partner head without protection isn't without risk of acquiring STD's or HIV. As others have stated if you have cuts on your lips or gums or a recently pierced tongue you may be at risk.
