This cartoon appeared in today's Boston Phoenix (our weekly "alternative" newspaper). Much of the news coverage and commentary in the issue celebrated New York State's legalization of same-sex marriage, but the editors clearly saw the need to remind everyone that even civil rights and true love don't trump certain things that are just part of being a Bostonian.
