Default Winnipeg Jets

I just read in the newspaper this morning that Winnipeg's team is officially called the Jets, again.

HOORAY!

Perhaps this is a harbinger of good things to come, as everything in the universe realigns according to how it should be.

Nice to see the Jets back but Tampa and FL and Carolina still have hockey teams so everything is not yet right in the hockey world

Well, by "harbinger" I meant a start. We can only hope that those southern teams will soon be moving north, where they rightly belong.

Next up Quebec City and Hamilton followed by Hartford. That takes care of where to move Carolina, Tampa Bay, and Florida. That leaves the decision of where to move Phoenix, which, by my guess, will be next spring after the taxpayers of Glendale realize that they will be on the hook each and every year for $30,000,000 plus to cover the Coyotes' losses.

The scuttlebutt here in New England is that there is no way Hartford will get an NHL team again. So, we shall see.

Personally, I'd like to see Halifax get one before Hartford.
