As for your question in the thread title, reposed in the text, one wonders why you specify "porn stars"?

I have a close transwoman friend who recently decided that she prefers orchi to SRS. Perhaps she will change her mind at some point in the future, but of course there are transwomen who may choose to keep their penises irrespective of the issue of the cost of surgery. That this is so points to a larger issue that seems to be forgotten time and again in posts on this site -- that transwomen are not some monolithic type, all falling into lockstep one with another, but in their interests, ways of life, political positions, views of self, and so on, they are as varied as any other group within the population.

Oh, and by the way (since Jodie will probably chime in on this topic when she's back online), some of them even live in states like Michigan.
