My comment had nothing to do with alcohol content. It was about flavor and quality. And I do not think that Germany is the world's beermaking leader. That is a tossup between Belgium and the United States, and the latter only because of the plethora of craft brewers. Canada has some excellent ones, too.

But since this thread is about "height," I will begin to get it back on track by mentioning that a good Belgian Tripel should be poured so as to have a head of 2-1/2" height and lacing on the glass before drinking.
