Regarding the part of your post that I have made bold above, I just want to say that your use of "we" is problematic. I do not share this view, for instance. I find it a cause for celebration when anyone gets closer to her or his true self, and if for a given person that getting rid of a cock, then any "selfishness" I might feel because I love cocks has to be negated in the interest of something greater and more important.
