I may live the wrong side of the pond, but I've been a Phillies fan for almost 20 years.

I suppose revenge over the damn Yankees for last season would be great. But I'd like to see us play Texas in the World Series: Phillies over Texas in 5 games.

Well we all do daft things.

Anyway, before 2004 you had plenty of reasons (85 to be precise ) to hide your allegiance to the Red Sox.

Jen's right. I never hid being a Red Sox fan. Unlike Cubs fans (but, I will admit, like Phillies fans), most longtime Red Sox fans are first and foremost baseball fans, not fans of a city's cultural phenomenon that happens to be a baseball team.
