TBH that would be a mistake for him. The same movies and story, but with 3D? Trust me, I don't think anyone would pay for that. He'd be better by releasing a 3D version of his films on Blu-Ray, that would make more sense.
In fact, I believe that 3D home sets won't take off until a long time has passed: A lot of people is/has already bought an HDTV set, some of those are the new LED screens, why would they upgrade them so fast just to have a technology which still is not safe, and that there isn't much content available for?
A 3D capable HDTV costs $4kUSD, when a bigger non-3D 1080p screen costs 3 times less, which one would you get?
