Very nice shots. No need to apologize because they are not high resolution.

In a lot of your photos, it appears that you get "excited" posing for the camera.

They seem fine to me

I use my mobile phone (on a timer) and a stand. It's not exactly ideal, but it works. Not as good as having somebody else taking photos though.
