Thanks to all of you who have encouraged me, either through posts here or in PMs, to keep writing this story (and, of course, thanks to Keliana for her continued inspiration). I will be away for a few days, without Web access, so I won't be posting the next installment until Sunday at the earliest (and possibly later).
