I used to sometimes meet people through Gumtree (met some good people through there - as well as a lot of timewasters) but since they pulled all their personal ads just before christmas I've been a bit stuck as to where to hook up with people now. I had a look on Craigslist, but nothing much seems to happen there - at least not outside London, so I suppose I shall have to get myself over to Birchplace at some point and see what's going on there...

Hello Kirsty.

I cannot see you getting banned anywhere! You have been nothing but respectful since joining here and I doubt you would be any different at other sites. I wonder why Birchplace did that?

As far as discussing the other sites you mentioned, I don't think there is a problem with it. A lot of other members here discuss various sites(the models who are members here also have links to their sites or discuss them in threads), and like you say the sites you are talking about are dating sites whereas this site is more of a forum than anything else.

However, in September 09 I opened a new site with Bluepixelprofits .... Strap on Jane's company ....

Consequently, Birchplace stopped paying me and suspended my profile on Birchplace without any open dialogue.

I have no other bad things to say about Birchplace. For several years they hosted my site, did my updates and paid me every month on time. I don't like falling out with anyone but if they are not going to pay me I am not going to send them any new photos/videos. The old site is still there and I see people sign up to it ....

My new site has all the old material and all the new material, there is nothing on the old site that is not on the new one.

Bluepixelprofits do far more for me in terms of promoting the site ..... Birchplace did no advertising outwith Birchplace itself .... that is the real reason I moved .... I am not really financially motivated.

I'd have preferred to keep on good terms .... Mais c'est la vie ....
