i don't quite see how this revelation would benefit your relationships in your family. do you talk about sexual conquests with your siblings and parents? if you have that open a family, there's probably no reason to be nervous. still, unless you're planning to elaborate on sucking dick around the holiday table, it may be preferable to confine your social discussions of interest in transsexuals to the anonymous internet. for what it's worth, i had a friend who engaged in an emotional relationship with a TG girl for a few months in college, the fact made its way into the rumor mill but from what i could tell, nobody interpreted it as a comment on his sexuality. surprisingly, the reaction was more benign curiosity than judgment or alienation, at least what i saw of it. having said all this, i can't think of a single reason why it would be logical to disclose to family unless you're in a ltr with a TG who asked you to get it out of the way.
