As mentioned above I found this comic on another site. Unfortunately I don't know who to credit for creating it. It spoke very loudly and clearly to me. It gave me an understanding of what transwomen have to fear not only from being assaulted, but also the consequences of reporting an assault.

While we, as males, cannot ever truly understand what they have to go through, those pictures give a small glimpse of it.
