Yeah, but at least the overtime during the regular season is only 5 minutes in duration. Some of the shootouts last longer than that!

I love overtime in the playoffs, but once it gets to the third or fourth overtime it gets a little boring as the players are so tired they are just waiting for a lucky bounce or a brain-fart from the opposing team.

I should have also added that I don't like shootouts either. The game should be 60 minutes and that's it. If it ends in a tie then it should be recorded as such with one point going to each team.
