Oh okey thanks so i will need at least a grand for the ladyboys and the
nightlife. i have been watching live feeds from Lamai Beach Road
in thailand looks interesting especially in the wee morning hours
live thai nightlife action..

P.S does the price count from boston ma. to thailand because thats where i am from
i am about 40 miles south of boston.

I can understand married guys can't just pick up and go to Thailand due to family obligations, but if you are single and can't save 2K over the course of a year, then perhaps its time you re-evaluated your career choice. Also there is much more to Thailand than just the LB scene. I'd recommend a trip to Phi Phi Island. It's a 45 minute boat ride from Phuket. I paid $30 for an all day beach hopping trip to Maya, Phi Phi that included a lunch buffet. Trust me, a trip to Thailand would be the best 2K you ever spent. The LB bars are just icing on the cake.

I did just a very quick search for roundtrip tix from Boston and found one on Expedia for $1061. That's kind of high though since it's only $690 if you can depart from LA. What I would recommend is taking a low cost carrier from Logan to LA. You can probably find a flight easily for under $200 from Boston to LA; then just change planes. It would still keep your flight under $900. Check the internet for low cost carrier flights or ask a travel agent in your area.

Yeah, I'd plan on about $100 a day for partying and the LB's. You could get by cheaper but I think $100 is the perfect budget to allow you to live like a rock star. ha ha. You can always scale back on the hotel and get something cheaper too in the $20 a night range. There are so many cheap hotels in Thailand. Even the $20 a night hotels are decent. You just might have to go without a swimming pool and other perks. No big deal.

Are you talking about Lamai Beach Rd in Chaweng in Koh Samui? I've been to Koh Samui once. It is absolutely beautiful with better beaches than Hawaii but the night life and LB scene was somewhat limited. I'd recommend BKK/Pattaya or BKK/Phuket for your first trip. Or if you want to hit the nice beaches in Koh Samui, it might be best to bring your own girl with you from Bangkok and chill out for a few days. That's what I did. I brought a GG girl from Soi Cowboy there. It was also nice having a local girl do all the translating for me too. You'll have no problem getting a nice LB or genetic girl in BKK to be your tour guide. If you need any more info, just let me know.

with all kinds of bars and action going on i noticed the golden arches
