I would suggest the real world and its realities are that everyone exploits everyone else sometimes in really clever ways, sometimes in mutually beneficial ways and also in ways most people dont understand ranging from such things as exploitation of animals by meat eaters to exploiting other countries for oil.
I think you know and understand the kind of forum we are members of which is full of porn. Whats the difference between being paid to perform in porn videos and being paid to perform just for one client in private ? I would suggest theres not much of a difference. Would it be hypocrisy to be supportive of porn yet judgemental about prostitution ? An interesting question for you I think.
I regret not finding the true love of my life at an early age or at all. This cant be helped. Its just how life turned out. I think if you cant find love then sex could be a pretty good way to fill the vacuum in between. My philosophy is enjoy your short life while you still can get an erection without viagara, it will be gone soon enough ,lol. I've never been with a prostitute before but theres always a first time for everything. Its' the same reason a lot of us were curious enough to visit this forum.

i say gross for many reasons. not just because of moral dilemmas. but STD's, having to pay for sex, etc, etc.

i think it's a highly risky thing on many levels and should be avoided if at all possible. and yes, paying to have sex with a stranger is gross. im not saying i'm above it or havent done gross things, but i wouldnt encourage people to go pay for sex.
