Barry,
I am familiar with (almost) all of those bands and have CD's by quite a few. Hope you enjoyed "Territory" live. The main reason I was into Tool was Danny Carey. Another awesome drummer. Plus Maynard's from Michigan. As for the present, I listen to a lot of Disturbed now, Godsmack, some Mudvayne, etc. having a harder time finding new bands to listen to these days--not into "emo"--maybe getting too old... Can't imagine my Dad listening to Disturbed at 39! LOL! He thought the "Beatles" were hard rock!Glad to see Slayer on the list. They got back together--there is a pretty good live version of "Raining Blood" on Youtube from 2007. Will have to post it... ![]() Ever hear of "Nothingface"? Worth checking out ("Violence" from 2000) if you don't already have it. Later... Last edited by aw9725; 10-01-2009 at 02:56 PM. |
