I do want to note that I am not exactly opposed to the general premise of the topic. SRS is not the holy grail of all Trans Women and should not be presented as such by either other trans women or our doctors. SRS is by no means a "fix" for being trans. On the other hand, for many trans women it is a very important step on their path to feeling like a whole functioning productive member of society. It is a deeply personal decision and one that absolutely must be respected.
Being somewhere in the middle - that is not feeling particularly compelled to have SRS, but not having any real emotional/sexual attachment to my penis (I'm really quite ambivalent about the whole thing - it's just not important enough to spend much time on). I see both sides and having anyone try to influence someone in either direction isn't pretty.
