Sesame, I had a 'Eureka' moment the other day. Since all records of Moses' name were erased by the Pharaoh then it only stands to reason that there would be no Egyptian record of the Exodus because it was led by Moses.

Correct. Also consider that the Pharaoh was regarded as the descendant of Sungod. So what a shame it must have been for the Egyptians to face defeat on the hands of a bunch of slaves, their leader (Moses) and a foreign God! So, its not strange that... there is no record that threatens to maculate the glory of the Egyptian Empire.

Or if you consider Bible from the standpoint of a sceptic and believe only in hard evidence, then there would be bad blood. You would be provoking a hornet's hive.

If you forget faith altogether, and cannot find any mention of the events of Exodus or Moses or a Great Flood in the Egyptian inscriptions or papyri, you could say... that there was no Exodus ever!

But I think that there is some record of a massive flood and slave uprising. I will look it up.
