Hmm. Personally, I just use a 20 oz soda bottle and tap water. However, it's not the delivery system in my case that's the trick, it's the method. As I've been fisting myself since I was a teenager, I like to be very clean, very deep.
After the water is in, I lay on my chest with my face sideways on the floor, ass way high in the air. I follow up a second time laying on my left side (the second ring goes left for me), right leg held high, usually propped on a cabinet or something. I'll have one more go but just a shallow one this time, avoiding going past the second ring, just to make sure there's no residual icky stuff.
Also, I prefer to do this a few hours before actual play, to let the lining absorb the liquid. Although, I've never had anyone play with my anus, and when I do, I wouldn't be adverse to deferring the time limit to include that as part of the play. Please note, though, that you need to be very careful with this sort of thing, as you can actually cause a form of encephalitis if you overdo it. I have years of experience with my body, and am very familiar with my limits.
Breathing and relaxation are also key. If you're tense, it's not going to be nearly as effective, as the water won't penetrate deep enough to really cleanse you.
As for soap or the like, I'm very easily irritated, so only water for me! Oh, and lest I forget, I start with lukewarm water, but end with cold water (not ice cold, just cold from the tap). For me, it's kind of like cleansing your pores with hot water, then following up with cold to close them once there clean. Not sure if that really made sense, but it works well for me.
