I honestly can't remember how many I've been with. I've made a lot of trips to Thailand and the Philippines over the years. Too many nights of barhopping. Sometimes I'd get a genetic girl; sometimes a ladyboy. Some I still keep in contact with and meet when I'm in town. I've got a good friend at The Guess Bar in Bangkok I see a couple of times a year and a girl in Cebu too. I'm fortunate to have a job that allows me to work and travel throughout Asia. You guys who admire ladyboys really should make the trip to Thailand. Tickets are cheap and you can get a decent hotel right on Soi 4 near Nana Plaza for $30 a night.

It's much cheaper than that. A 10 day stay could be done for under 2K.

Thai Air web site special LA-BKK roundtrip =$690
10 days hotel @ $30 a night = $300
$100 a day budget for living like a king = $1,000

Total for 10 day stay = $1,990

Scale it back to a week (7 days) and the total is $1,600

I can understand married guys can't just pick up and go to Thailand due to family obligations, but if you are single and can't save 2K over the course of a year, then perhaps its time you re-evaluated your career choice. Also there is much more to Thailand than just the LB scene. I'd recommend a trip to Phi Phi Island. It's a 45 minute boat ride from Phuket. I paid $30 for an all day beach hopping trip to Maya, Phi Phi that included a lunch buffet. Trust me, a trip to Thailand would be the best 2K you ever spent. The LB bars are just icing on the cake.
