I have never heard of anything good happening from craigslist personals. Whit I hear is from both men and trans*women... the general feeling is CL is full of fakes, pic collectors, hookers, scammers, and general jerks.

You should note that a coupl of (gay) guy friends of mine got robbed when they went to meet a "gay couple" they met on CL.
