This is Transgender Awareness Week. November 20 is typically the Day of Remembrance. It has always been hard to find a ceremony in the Indianapolis area. The first TDOR I went to was way back in 2009. While there has been progress in public awareness and acceptance, I'm not sure things have gotten better over 10 years regarding violence and discrimination. At least in the United States, it may actually be worse for some...
 I'll be having a get together at my house next Wednesday. For those who are still interested, here is an article I found on CNN this morning. Featuring many who have made a difference.
